YCCE
Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering is an autonomous engineering college
affiliated to RTMNU (formerly, Nagpur University). It is located in the town of Hingna in
the district of Nagpur. The college was established in 1984 and is named after Yashwantrao Chavan,
former first Chief Minister of Maharashtra State and the former Deputy Prime Minister of India; since
then, it has been under the administration of Nagar Yuwak Shikshan Sanstha, a subsidiary of Meghe Group.
It attained its autonomous status from the University Grants Commission (India) in 2010.
Since the last 38 years, the institution has magnificently cherished and encouraged the forthcoming engineering
professionals across the country making it one of the most opted engineering colleges in Maharashtra.
The college is guided by the Academic Advisory Board consisting of eminent academicians from the
prestigious technical institutes in India. YCCE is one of the top engineering colleges in Nagpur that
aspires to create devoted, proficient, capable, and resourceful engineers who would utilize their
assimilated knowledge and skills for the advancement of the organization as well as the Nation.
It is the first private engineering college in Central India to acquire "Autonomous Status".
YCCE TBI Foundation
We have recently established YCCE TBI Foundation, a section 8 company, for the provision of technology business incubation under a scheme of promotion of innovation, rural industries, and entrepreneurship of the Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India. At present 10 start-ups are registered and incubated at YCCE TBI Foundation. It is our initiation towards the development of the innovation and incubation ecosystem at YCCE, Nagpur.
The YCCE TBI Foundation is established for following objectives:
